Clear Care is a contact lens brand that encourages you to embrace your eyes. Its cheeky and loving tone wants you to know that your lenses deserve better, which strengthens the relationship between you and your eyes.
Our team helped to shape the look and feel for this brand’s social media. Working from only a series of purple-background, product-focused print ads, our options were limited. We started with too many bubbles and slightly creepy digital illustrations of a little lens guy living in a slightly creepy vector world that was cute but didn’t say much, and moved to a more sophisticated place of lifestyle, yet product-focused photography. Yes, I made most of the vectors, and yes, I shot most of the photography. With my iPhone. On the riverwalk. And other random locations around Chicago. Low-budget, DIY shoots have quickly risen to my skillset Top 8, if portfolios were like Myspace and skills were like friends.
